Dr Susana Fraga is a Medical Doctor specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics, with a subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine. Since 2018, she has been part of the Procriar team, where she focuses on the care of women and couples in the fields of infertility and reproductive medicine. She is a member of the Portuguese Society of Gynecology and the Portuguese Society of Reproductive Medicine. Recognized for her experience and technical rigor, she combines a human, compassionate, and personalized approach in supporting all those seeking help to achieve their parenthood project.
She graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto in 2001 and completed her General Internship at the Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho Hospital Center between 2002 and 2003. From 2004 to 2011, she undertook her Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Centro Hospitalar do Porto – Maternidade Júlio Dinis Unit, where she later remained as an Attending Physician. She obtained the title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2011 and has since worked as an Attending Physician at the same institution, with clinical activity in Menopause, Gynecological Endocrinology, and Gynecological Ultrasound, as part of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department.
In 2019, she was awarded the title of Consultant in the Medical Career, and in 2021 she completed her Subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine, further consolidating her advanced technical expertise in this field.
In parallel with her activity at Procriar, she has been a member of the Gynecology and Obstetrics team at Instituto CUF Porto since 2022.
I am in this field to help make it possible for couples to become parents with the support of reproductive medicine. Procriar stands out for its teamwork, transparency, and, above all, for the care and dedication shown to the people who entrust us with such a special moment in their lives.
